These terms of service apply to consumers who purchase products from the 1805 shop that is owned and run by Goldsmith Kulmala Ltd, hereinafter ”1805 by Kulmala” or ”we” or ”us”.

Finnish law will be applied to all disputes arising under this User Agreement. The disputes arising under this agreement that cannot be solved through mutual agreement shall be solved in the district court of Helsinki, Finland.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please make sure that all customer information you provide to us is correct, as we do not validate such information.

Most of the 1805 products are ready to deliver. However, if the 1805 piece you wish to purchase is not available in stock, the 1805 team will contact you. In case there is any misconception with the stock level when an order is being placed, we reserve the right not to deliver. If there are any delays after receiving the order confirmation, we will inform you immediately and you will be entitled either to a replacement product or to withdraw your order.

From time to time, there may be typographical errors or inaccuracies that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors and inaccuracies in the 1805 shop, and to change or update information without prior notice or even to cancel orders if necessary.


The colours in the 1805 shop may appear different online than in person due to differences in device settings. We have used various metal surface treatments in the 1805 collection and looks may vary from one piece to another. There are also some natural variations in the gemstones we use. Neither variation in the gemstones nor in the metal treatments is considered a defect.


We really hope that you love your 1805 piece! If not, you may return it within 14 days after receiving your order. We kindly ask you to contact us prior to shipping the item by e-mailing us at The piece must be returned unused, undamaged and in the original packaging. Please note that you will be responsible for paying for the return shipping costs unless the product was delivered to you erroneously or damaged. We recommend that you use a trackable shipping service. Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you by sending you an email. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. This may take a few days depending on the method of payment.

The 1805 shop is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored in Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

When you purchase something from the 1805 shop, we collect personal information as part of the buying and selling process. The details needed are your name, address, phone number and email address. 1805 by Kulmala handles your private data with the utmost confidentiality and the data will not be exposed or disclosed to third parties.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our shop, new products and other updates. If you would like to access, correct, amend or delete any personal information from our registry, please send a request by email to


Prices in the 1805 shop are in euros and include the Finnish VAT 24% regardless the shipping address. Please note, there might be additional costs with orders outside EU. International customers are responsible for their country's customs, taxes, duties and/or VAT fees. Postage and handling will be added in all orders automatically, they are as follows: Finland 10€, other EU countries 15€,  Non-EU countries 20€. Orders in Finland are sent via Finnish Post Office and abroad via DHL, Postnord or Finnish Post Office. Orders are sent with tracking information. Please allow up to 14 days for delivery from dispatching.

We accept a variety of payment methods through Paytrail including major credit cards.

You can pay your order by:

Credit card: Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and JCB. All credit card transactions are secure.
